Thursdays Top Ten (part 2)

Continueing from yesterdays celebration of the legal rights to use ''You Can Call Me Batman'' by Scared Of Dinosaurs As a theme for The Nerdy News, we were counting down my top 10 Batman Villians, with no further ado lets get back into the action.

5. Clayface(Side Note:with clayface there isint just one but since we do these in bio style we shall do the one from Batman: The Animated Series.)

Real Name:Matt Hagen
First Appearance :Detective Comics #298
(December 1961)
Insane Twist: Hagen is disfigured in a horrible car accident while recovering in a burn clinic, he is approached by corrupt businessman Roland Daggett, who makes him a test subject for a compound called "RenuYou" that he promises will immediately restore his youthful good looks in return, Hagen must disguise himself to commit crimes for Daggett. He greatly resents this, but is forced to comply as the RenuYou chemical is extremely addictive. Hagen attempts to steal a large quantity of RenuYou from Daggett's compound, but is caught, and Daggett's men try to kill Hagen by pouring an entire canister of the compound down his throat.Rather than kill him like its suppose to, It turns him into a bulky and misshapen clay like form. For short periods of time, he can shapeshift into anything or anybody he wishes.
Highlight: carnt pick one
Reason (My Views)
: Much like Mr. Freeze and Two Face clayface is a sympathic villian, you feel sorry for him, but his ability to shapeshift is admireable but at the same time when hit he would just be hitting mud, kind of like the sandman from spider-man but instead of sand its mud

4. Bane
Real Name: Unkown
First Appearance: Batman: Vengeance of Bane #1
Insane Twist: Formerly addicted to the super-steroid Venom, Bane is now merely consumed with gaining power in the world.
Highlight: Breaking Batman's spirit and then breaking his back.Bane could easily have been #1 on the list, but since his brilliant show of destroying Batman, Bane has turned into a worthless Neanderthal. During "Knightfall" Bane didn't just break Batman's back, he broke Batman's will. While most villains choose chaotic strategies to take out Batman, Bane's plan was simply to unleash every whacko from Arkham, run Batman ragged, and then face the Dark Knight when he had nothing left. Batman barely had the will to go on living after his battle with Bane. Too bad the past few years have negated Bane to a rather simple thug.
Reason (My Views) : Bane is just a massive powerhouse of muscle, his basic plans simply make him better than other villians, rather than do things for a reason or have a 'theme' e.g. ice or plants, he is just strong and a brute whitch makes him awesome!

3. Scarecrow
Real Name: Jonathan Crane
First Appearance: World's Finest Comics #3
Insane Twist: Scarecrow wants nothing less than everyone in Gotham to be as afraid as he once was.
Highlight : Producing a long-lasting fear in Batman during Dark Victory that turned the Dark Knight into a paranoid loner unable to accept help from anyone. Few villains have done more with less. The pencil-thing Crane has one of the most effective attacks of the Rogues Gallery. How many other villains have routinely made Batman afraid? Cranes downfall is his own shortsightedness. But as the creepy figure in the night, he helps open up interesting avenues into the Dark Knight's psyche. That's true power.
Reason (My Views) : Well just the idea of someone who was afriad then that same person then createing a fear toxin and useing it as a sort of hallucinogen just seems really amazing and cool to me not to mention the toxin always provides amazing visons of there personal fears.

Will Need To Do A part 3 tomorro with the final 2 ;)
